Stole Text
To our gay brothers and lesbian sisters whom this church shuts out or forces into hiding, we say, in the words of the Order for the Ordination of a Pastor, “…be of good courage, for God has called you, and your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

Originally a part of the collection of stoles housed by ReconcilingWorks (formerly known as Lutherans Concerned), this stole was donated by them to the Shower of Stoles Project in 2015.
