This is one of thirteen stoles donated in 1996 to the Shower of Stoles collection by members of Calvary St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Rochester, NY.  We have no other information about this anonymous donor.  It should be noted that the scripture passage from Romans included on this stole is the single most frequently quoted passage on stoles in the collection: Nothing in all of creation can separate us from the love of God.  Nothing -- not hate, not the church's discrimination -- can separate us from God's unconditional love!

CSA is one of three More Light churches in Rochester that are working towards the full inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people into the life and leadership of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
