This is one of four stoles donated to the Shower of Stoles collection in 1996 by Clayton Valley Presbyterian Church, northeast of Oakland, CA. Unlike the other three, this stole was not made by the church. The church acted as a third party, sending the stole behalf of this minister, to protect his anonymity. We have no other information about this anonymous minister other than the fact that, at the time, he lived somewhere in northern California.
