This stole is given on behalf of the Southside Singers of Southside Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in South Bend, IN. Southside is an Open and Affirming congregation, and several Southside Singers are people who were either unwelcome or unable to share their gifts in other churches. Southside welcomes all who come, and we pray for the day when gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people will be welcomed in churches everywhere. Meanwhile, we continue to “make a joyful noise,” because we have come to know God’s wonderful, abundant love for us and all God’s children.

 

This stole was included with a shipment of stoles from an exhibit in South Bend.
