The official General Case Report of the New Orleans Police Department is filed on August 30, two months after the fire. The report lists the names of 28 persons who died. Joe Adams and Reginald Adams are mistakenly identified as the same person.

David Stuart Gary, 22, ragtime pianist who played at the Upstairs Lounge and the Marriott Hotel across the street, was friend of Bill Larson.

Horace “Skip” Getchell, 35, MCC member and freight dispatcher, partner to Bill Farrell.

John Thomas Golding, 49, member of MCC Board of Elders, married to Jane Golding.

Gerald Hoyt Gordon, 37, from Cornersville, Tennessee, Air Force veteran and shipping clerk.

Glenn Richard “Dick” Green, 32, Navy Veteran and MCC member. Partner of Michael Scarborough who survived the fire with serious injuries.

James Walls Hambrick, 45, Navy veteran and successful businessman, died June 28, 1973, from burns sustained in the fire.

Kenneth Paul Harrington, 48, federal government employee, pictured with his partner, Frank Landry, who died a few years before the fire.

Deacon William R. Larson, 47, interim pastor of MCC New Orleans, formerly a Methodist lay minister.

Ferris LeBlanc, buried in Potter’s Field as no one claimed his remains.

Robert K. Lumpkin, 29, from Mississippi.
