Dear Alfred:
It's a little late to say this, but of course I would never have troubled you for the QCB cheque if I had realised atthe time that you were ill. My thanks for the cheque, although even these thanks are also belated; and I do hope that you are now better.
I have enjoyed reading your article in the "Friends" and to realise from it that you were convelescing well.
Our present meetings are taken up with interminable consideration (quite right) of the draft pamphlet.
