TAKE FRIDAY OFF
We have printed below a schedule of events for our International
Conference of Gay Jews. You will surely regret having missed any part
of this event -- so plan to take a vacation day on the 22nd.
Registrations have been pouring in from all points - from Australia
to Israel, from Montreal to Miami to Los Angeles. Gay and Jewish
newspapers around the world have run articles about the event(honest!)
Members of our shul must register as well, in order to participate
in most of the conference activities.
Please complete the enclosed form, and return it with your $15 check
to the synagogue. The fee covers all meals and events listed below,
a bargain even in material terms. If you are not sure you can make it,
please read the article "Our Conference: A Pilgrimage Festival" in
this issue.
Emergency request: we are undergoing a new version of the shul's
perennial housing crisis -- we need more hosts for ou-of-towners. If
at all possible, open up your hearts and your floors. Remember,
today's guest is tomorrow's host!
