A documentary demonstrating the high level of bigotry against Two-Spirit marriage. The film examines how oppressed Two Spirit people feel when denied the right to marry in their communities.

Most native communities do not have laws that allow marriage. A few do, but only a few. So, the passing of the marriage act protects American citizens but offers no protection for Two Spirit couples. Attention is given to those pushing for change, including some native leaders. Native politicians are willing to hold a referendum but mostly will not declare their support for the issue.
