Further Resources

This section showcases a number of resources related to LGBTQ religious history and activism, including books, organization websites, and documentary films. The list below focuses primarily on resources authored by or significantly involving RTSA participants.

Our hope is that Rolling the Stone Away is, as Mel Soriano stated in the first RTSA planning meeting, "a platform to jump off of and inspire new leaders." The resources here are not a comprehensive list, but are instead a representative selection intended to provide a reference point for the incredible range of work already done by RTSA participants. Moreover, they are intended to supply inspiration for moving forward in LGBTQ Christian activism, storytelling, and reconciliation.
