Contribution Story

In 1998, a small group of students at McCormick Seminary in Chicago helped make a stole for Ivan Perez, a Cuban exile who had been a pastor in the Presbyterian Reformed Church of Cuba before making his way to Chicago (read Ivan's story at stole #403).  Ivan's stole and three others were made from an old pair of light gray pants.  Ivan's stole was the only one that was named; the other three, including this one, are anonymous.  "J.B." included a picture of himself on the stole, one which has him standing proudly atop a rocky ledge, but intentionally is too small for him to be identified.
