Rev. Valerie Spencer is a healer, behavioral health therapist, cultural visionary, national community leader, and interfaith minister. The Holistic Empowerment Institute is her concept. She has been at the forefront of addressing behavioral health issues as it relates to LGBTQI communities of color. ​HEI centers community mental health and healing on a social, cultural and spiritual basis for LGBTQI communities by using Whole-person, Cultural Affirmation, and Spiritual Integration as primary tools to cultivate relationship with one’s own “Sacred Core”.  https://www.beholistic.org
