Title

Commemorative church greeting card

Description

The front of this devotional card features the Church of the Beloved Disciple's image of St. John the Beloved, reproduced from the stained-glass window designed collaboratively by Leo Joseph and John Darcy Noble. Commissioned in England and imported to New York in 1970, the window became the visual emblem of the congregation and frequently appeared on printed liturgical materials, prayer cards, and church publications. Measuring approximately 4.25 × 6 inches, the folded card welcomed visitors while expressing the church's identity through the figure of its patron saint.
