Photograph of the original altar of the Holy Eucharist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, showing the primitive altar cross, Gospel Book, and altar furnishings preserved from the congregation's earliest years. In a letter dated October 26, 1979, Archbishop George Augustine Hyde informed Bishop Robert Clement that these objects had been rediscovered after decades in storage and described their historical significance to the founding of the Eucharistic Catholic Church.
