Description

Rev. Virginia Marie Rincon is an Episcopal priest, a ritual weaver, a Curandera an activist and an advocate. After 20 years as a nurse in the public sector, Rev. Virginia went back to school there she earned a BLS in Social Work from St. Edward's University in Austin, and later a Master's in Divinity degree from The Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA. She was ordained as an Episcopal Priest in 2003. Her years in ministry focused on liberation, spirituality, and the healing of mind, body, and soul. While living in Maine, Rev. Virginia founded Tengo Voz, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment and leadership of Latina women in Maine. More recently Virginia has returned to the path her grandmother prepared for her as a curandera/ a healer. She lives and works in Los Angeles, California where she continues to support people on their spiritual paths.
